The Barber Museum is excited to have Colin Seeley participate as our Grand Marshal for the 14th Annual Vintage Festival. Seeley’s lifetime in motorsports is brimming with special accomplishments and contributions. Over the past 60 years, he’s made his mark as a motorcycle dealer, motorcycle racer, sidecar racer, chassis designer, race team manager, and philanthropist.
Considered one of the best motorcycle frame designers of the 1960s-80s, Seeley’s designs were the top pick among the winningest motorcycle racers. Even today, Seeley-framed racing motorcycles continue to weigh in as one of the most chosen makes in vintage racing.
Motorcycles by Moonlight, featuring Colin Seeley, is an event you do not want to miss. Tickets are on sale now!
Just A Few Cats bring their fun, energetic style to this year's Motorcyles By Moonlight! They will kick off the night at 6pm and will play until we turn off the lights!

Bill Patterson is an internationally known motorsports artist. His paintings are owned by some of the biggest names in motorsports today and his clients include Andretti Racing, BMW, Honda, Firestone, Continental, Audi, and many, many more. His professional career spans 25 years, and was sparked by his love of art at a young age, and his passion for motorsports, after watching his first race as a teenager in Argentina.
He is the Official Artist of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, and performs live paintings in front of audiences for charity events, special events, and corporate entertainment. Bill is continually redefining his goals for each new painting, making each piece part of a progression. Asked which is his favorite painting he has ever done, the answer is always the same: "The next one!"
"My goal with each new painting is to attempt to convey to the viewer some of the passion I feel about racing, to position the observer in the car, and to convey a sense of the speed and sound of that experience."
Bill created a beautiful piece featuring our 2017 Vintage Festival Grand Marshall, Wes Cooley, that was auctioned during dinner.
Tickets for the Motorcycles by Moonlight Dinner and Fundraiser are on sale below. Individual tickets include museum access for Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as the Friday evening event in the museum but do not include access to the Barber Vintage Festival. The 2017 Vintage Festival was a huge success, thanks to all who attended! Friday evening’s Motorcycles by Moonlight event in the museum’s Grand Atrium kicked off the three-day weekend festival with a plated dinner, proceeds benefiting the not-for-profit Barber Museum. The silent auction included valuable motorcycle leathers, art, sculptures, and big-ticket items provided by generous donors. After the silent auction closed, the live auction saw active bidding on a painting artist Bill Patterson created in two hours onstage during the event, as well as the official 13th Annual Barber Vintage Festival art painted by Anne Hicks. Some lucky auction winners got to take the “rides of their lives” in parade laps on the track on Saturday, where they rode as passengers in the museum’s Radical SR3 Supersport and Lotus 2-Eleven Roadster. A special thank you to our Grand Marshal, Wes Cooley, for his participation.
We are looking forward to this year's event with our Grand Marshal, Colin Seeley! Be sure to mark your calendar for Friday, October 5th and get your tickets NOW!
